Patients with ill household members are asked to postpone treatments for at least 10 days following home isolation recommendations. Patients who have been recently ill with symptoms consistent with COVID-19/ Flu/Colds are asked to schedule appointments and keep appointments after these three things have happened:

You have had no fever for at least 48 hours (no fever without the use of medicine that reduces fevers) AND other symptoms have improved (for example, when your cough or shortness of breath has improved) AND at least 5 days have passed since your symptoms first appeared

Please wear loose-fitting clothing to all appointments to allow access to the areas of discomfort and to which you are comfortable exercising or stretching while wearing.

Alternative Medicine

Dr.Gradel is licensed in both Acupuncture and Chiropractic Medicine. At StoneWater, Alternative Medicine encompasses both disciplines, and she can provide both treatment methods during appointments.

Dr. Gradel graduated from National University of Health Sciences (NUHS) with a Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine in 2016 and continued with her studies to obtain her Master’s in the Science of Acupuncture graduating in 2017 as her class Salutatorian. During her studies at NUHS she furthered her knowledge through various advanced training courses in Motion Palpation, Mckenizie Technique, 300 hours of Chiropractic Acupuncture, Funtional Movement Taping, and treatment of Childhood Behavioral Disorders through the International Association of Functional Neurology and Rehabilitation (IAFNR) to name a few. During her last year at NUHS she interned at John Stroger Jr. Hospital’s Pain Management Department, one of the busiest urban hospitals in the world located in the heart of Chicago’s Medical District.

After Graduation Dr. Gradel attended a supervised medical internship at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine’s Fourth Affiliated Hospital Located in ZaoZhunang, China. When she returned she moved to the Louisville area and opened StoneWater Acupuncture & Chiropractic. Where she shares her passion for living a healthy lifestyle and dedicates her life to helping others with their health challenges through integrating two healing arts into one balanced practice.

Away from the office you may find her rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, or camping around the area. She is an avid nature enthusiast and believes in the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku (森林浴) or Forest Bathing to alleviate stress and boost the immune system. ​
